Who is Dad Man?

Hey there, I’m Evan Wilson—but around here, I go by Dad Man. That nickname came from my son, and it stuck in the best way. Cooking has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up as a home cook, spent time running a food truck, and currently work as a child nutrition coordinator for a public Waldorf charter school, where I am known as Chef Evan. No matter the setting, food has always been my way of connecting with people.
This site is my kitchen table on the internet. It’s where I share the recipes I’ve been cooking (and re-cooking), the flavors that inspire me, and the lessons I’ve picked up along the way. At the end of the day, I just love making good food that brings people together—and if I can help someone else feel a little more at home in their own kitchen, then I’ve done my job.
