High Heat Keeps the Asparagus Snappy
Asparagus has one rule: respect the heat. In a hot oven, the tips blister, the stalks brown at the edges, and every spear still tastes like asparagus instead of a limp green noodle. Garlic brings the savory depth, and the lemon is the finishing move that wakes the whole plate up. This is my go-to side when the main dish already has plenty going on: about ten minutes in the oven, a handful of ingredients, and something green on the table that earns its spot. Easy enough for a Tuesday, good enough for company.
