Treat Salmon Gently and Skip a Dry Burger

A salmon burger should still taste unmistakably like salmon. Instead of turning the fish into a paste, this version keeps enough texture in the patties to remind you what you are eating. Lemon and dill bring freshness, and the tangy yogurt sauce gives the finished burger moisture without weighing it down. It is a good use for beautiful fresh salmon when you want something more casual than a fillet, especially when dinner is headed outside and buns are involved.

I make this when I find good salmon on sale. I make a double batch of Baked Wild Salmon so I have intentional leftovers for salmon burgers later in the week. Two super easy, healthy and delicious meals checked off my list for the week? Yes, please!
